The Role at a Glance
As part of our continuous improvement mindset at Lincoln, the Re-engineering department focused on transforming our Life, Annuities, Claims, Producer Solutions and Group Protecting businesses is adding to our team! If you have the passion for improving processes, then this role may be for you!
As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to lead the operational areas through process improvement opportunities following the lean/six sigma methodologies. These transformational changes may include improving manual processes, implementing robotics, technology upgrades, or introducing macros. This team is an experienced and dynamic team working with our operational areas on embracing transformation. You will help create the roadmap for what solutions are put into place for years to come.
What you'll be doing
Analyzes and researches more complex systems and processes to recommend improvements aligned to business needs and ensures project sponsors fully understand alternatives, requirements, and feasibility to determine the best viable option
Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives
Facilitates project meetings with stakeholders to map current and future state processes, define project scope, determine more complex project plans, execute agreed deliverables, and evaluate outcomes
Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality
Liaises with vendors to address more complex and/or escalated system or process questions and concerns
What we're looking for
3 - 5+ Years experience in insurance industry and/or continuous improvement that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
Advanced Excel experience
4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
Proven ability to analyze large data sets
Financial services operations experience
Green belt or Black belt
Change leadership, value stream mapping and workflow experience

Hybrid/Home : Employees will work from home generally three days each week and come into a Lincoln office on a schedule their manager will help set, following any applicable in-office training period determined by their manager.
